Can
I convert audio files from a CD-ROM to an Audio CD for playback on standalone
CD players?
YES. Source audio files need to be converted to the standard "CD-DA" format to enable playback on standalone CD players. One audio CD will store an average of 20 songs or 74 minutes of play in this format. If your source files in the CD-ROM are in a highly compressed format such as MP3, you are probably going to end up with more discs after converting to this format. |

How
do I play MP3-CDs?
MP3-CD can be played from your computer's CD-ROM drive or from any compatible MP3 device, such as portable CD players and home CD players and DVD players that have MP3 decoding. To enable your computer to play MP3 files, you will need to make sure you have the appropriate MP3 player software installed. In most cases, you may already have an MP3 player pre-installed on your computer. If not, you can download a free player from www.winamp.com. |
